Personal data

LiveVerdon does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. The “My travel notebook” feature saves your selections locally in your browser (localStorage): this data is neither transmitted to nor stored on our servers. Privacy-friendly audience measurement may be used, without identifying visitors.

Some forms on the site (error report, directory registration requests, photo submissions) collect the information you enter in them, solely to process your request or to send you what you have asked for.

The site also presents local producers and businesses based on professional information that is already public, including, where the business bears the name of its operator, data relating to a natural person. Their origin, legal basis, retention period and how to exercise your rights (correction, removal, objection) are detailed in the notice Your data: producers and operators. You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

The health directory reuses, for the professionals who practise in the communes of the Verdon, practice data that the Agence du numérique en santé (the French digital health agency) publishes as open data (RPPS extract, Licence Ouverte 2.0): title (Dr), the surname and first name under which they practise, profession, specialty, and the address and landline number of the place of practice. Never an email address, a mobile number or an identifier. This processing rests on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in helping residents and visitors find a health professional; no professional can pay to appear in it or to be placed higher. The page is regenerated with each new file from the source: anyone who is no longer in the file disappears from the page. Are you one of these professionals? You can ask for access to your data or object to its publication by writing to contact@liveverdon.com: we reply within one month, and a line removed at your request does not come back with the next file. So that a line removed at your request does not reappear in a later import, we keep, in an objections register, a cryptographic fingerprint calculated from your municipality, surname and first name, together with the date of your request. Your municipality, surname and first name are not stored in plain text in this register: only their fingerprint is kept, with the date of your request. The fingerprint is kept for as long as it is needed to respect your objection and to prevent the line from being published again. Corrections are made at the source (your professional body or the regional health agency). You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Business data: directory registration and business area

The form on the Join the directory page records what you enter in it (business name, municipality, type, plan, website, telephone, e-mail address, message) and the date of the request, in order to create or update your business listing, to reply to you and, where applicable, to link a payment to your request. It records neither your IP address nor your browser.

The business area works without a password. When the e-mail address entered is recognised for the listing indicated, the request for a sign-in link records that address, the listing reference, the date and a truncated fingerprint of the IP address: the address cannot be recovered from this fingerprint, which is used only to limit the number of requests per hour. The link is valid for 30 minutes and works only once. When it is opened, a session cookie (lv_espace), essential for signing in and unreadable by the scripts of the page, is set for 12 hours; the sign-out button ends the session on our servers and deletes this cookie. The information you enter or change in your business area is recorded with the e-mail address of the session, the listing reference and the date; it is published at the next update of the site, without prior review and under your responsibility, and then becomes visible to everyone on your listing. The name of the establishment, its category, its address and a website outside the domain name already known for the establishment are published only after verification by LiveVerdon.

This data is intended for LiveVerdon only. It is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Payment for an offer takes place with Stripe, which receives your e-mail address and sends us confirmation of the payment (subscription identifiers and dates, never your card number). Automatic e-mails (sign-in link, reminder before a subscription is renewed) are sent through Brevo, which therefore receives your address. The service that alerts us when a request has arrived (ntfy) receives only a number, a type of request and, depending on the case, the offer, the municipality or the names of the fields changed: never a name, an e-mail address, a telephone number or any text entered.

This data stays on record until you ask for it to be deleted: there is no automatic deletion yet. To access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use, write to contact@liveverdon.com. You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
